Edward B. "Ed" Boyd

Edward B. Boyd "Ed", age 61 passed away on Thursday July 25, 2019 in the Intensive Care Unit at Atrium Health Pineville, NC. He was born in Rock Hill, SC a son of Lonnie V. Boyd "Bud" and Elizabeth Canon Boyd "Betty". Ed was retired owner and operator of Eagle Eye Group- VIP Landscaping in Charlotte NC and surrounding areas. Ed was also a member of the Pineville Fire Department where he started as a junior fire fighter and rose to assistant chief; he enjoyed every Christmas playing Santa in the annual fire department Santa ride.
Survivors include his daughter Ashlie Morris and husband Derrick D Morris II; two sisters, Libby Boatwright and Polly Farris (and John), two grandchildren Alysia Hope Morris and Derrick D. Morris III, loving finace, care taker and soul mate Debbie Wilson. his niece Julie Farris and nephew Joel Patterson, preceded in death by his parents Bud and Betty Boyd, and a sister Mary Patterson (Wayne),

A private service will be held with the family at a later date. Visitation will be Sunday July 28, 2019 at 1:00pm-until at 858 Fort Mill Highway, Indian Land SC.
