Edward John Contartesi, 62, a resident of Rock Hill for 17 years, died Sunday, June 9, 2013. He was a member of the NRA and was preceded in death by a son, Christopher and a sister Michelle Veldez. He is survived by: His wife of 33 years: Libby; 3 children: John Edward Contartesi, Robert Paul Contartesi, Michael Anthony Contartesi; His mother: Delores Contartesi; 2 sisters: Ginger Manolopoulos, Annette Mula; 3 brothers: Vincent Contartesi, Tommy Contartesi, Bruce Gentile; Honorary granddaughter: Jasmine Butler. A Memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at 2:00pm in the Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be private. Memorial donations may be made to the American Red Cross.
