SHARON, S.C. - Edwin Lee "Red" Campbell, 59, of 247 Canupp Road, died Saturday, October, 4, 2014, at Piedmont Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Catawba Ward, with burial in the church cemetery.
Born in Rock Hill, Red was the son of the late Willie and Nola Harris Campbell. He was a construction worker for many years, painting and hanging sheetrock. He loved to hunt, fish, and go camping. Hunting arrowheads was a favorite pastime. He loved to watch old westerns on TV as well as joke and laugh. Red was also a Master Pottery Maker.
He is survived by a son, Edwin Alan Campbell; two brothers, Grady Harris and Leon Harris; four sisters, Betty Blue, Della Oxendine, Deborah Crisco, and Rita Bogan; and two grandchildren; and special cousins, Debbie "Bit" Campbell, Tammi Campbell, Bob Canupp, Randi Campbell, Leo Harris, and Mot Campbell.
Red was preceded in death by two brothers, Carl Harris and Martin Harris.
