Edwin Maki

Edwin Richard Maki, 70, of Fort Mill, SC passed away Saturday, December 28, 2013. He was born in Calumet, Mich. on June 18, 1943 to Richard Maki and Esther Maki. Edwin retired from the W.Va. State Tax Dept. and is formerly of Charleston, W.Va. He has been a resident of Fort Mill since 2007 and is a member of the Church of Christ - Gold Hill Rd. Preceding him in death are his parents; two sisters, Donna Barry and Debbie Peters; and brother, Jim Maki. Edwin is survived by his wife, Sonia Maki; daughter, Amanda Talkington and her husband, Edward of Charleston, W.Va.; son, Bradley Maki of Huntington, W.Va.; sisters, Lorraine Hervela, Karen Sintkowski and Marilyn Lompre all of Calumet, Michigan and brother, Marvin Maki of Jacksonville Florida. Funeral service will be held 11:00 am, Thursday, January 2, 2014 at Palmetto Funeral Home Chapel with Jeff Trotter officiating. Family will receive friends at 10:00 am.
