Eleanor Panfen

Eleanor Higham Panfen, 70, passed away on January 21, 2014 at home. Born in Trenton, New Jersey, she resided in Mercer County until 2006 when she relocated to Fort Mill, South Carolina to be close to her grandchildren. Eleanor was predeceased by her parents, Justus C. "Red" Higham and Eleanor Yard Higham, her sister Mary Lou Sheppard and her brothers Gerald and Justus (Nick) Jr. Eleanor is survived by her husband Gerald, two special daughters Justine, and her husband Ryan Mathews, and Katie Panfen. Also surviving are four beloved grandchildren Riley and Aaron Kliwinski, Jason and Kevin Mathews who she considered her ultimate gift in life. She is also survived by brothers, William, Michael, Timothy, Anthony, Stephen, Dennis and Terrence. Additionally she is survived by her sisters, Carol McNamara, Kathy Higham Ivarone, Jane Thiel and Susan Higham Baker, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be private.
