Eleanor Caruana Petrone

Eleanor Caruana Petrone age 81 went home to be with our Lord on Monday, July 13, 2015 at home. Born in Jersey City, NJ; daughter of the late Joseph and Frances Caruana, she was preceded in death by her daughter Maria Burnett. She married Frank Petrone on September 23, 1950 and shared 64 years of marriage. Eleanor Petrone was a retired real estate broker and also volunteered at the Billy Graham home. She loved the Lord and attended Real Life Assembly of God in Fort Mill, SC. She lived for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was a great cook and loved to cook for everyone! She loved to share her hospitality. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends that knew her loving smile.
Survivors include her children, Frank Petrone and wife Grace, Corinne Kimble and husband Mark, Brian Petrone, Vincent Petrone and wife Leasa and son in law Chris Burnett., her grandchildren; Rachel and DeWayne, Cyndee and husband Jeff, Frances and husband Chris, Michael, Daniel, Danielle, Anthony, Isabella, and Christopher and her Great-grandchildren; Alecsander, Emma, Sophia and Ava.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 15, 2015 from 7 pm to 9 pm at Palmetto Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 2 pm Thursday, July 16 also at Palmetto Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Gil Kinney officiating. Burial will follow Grandview Memorial Park Hollis Lakes in Rock Hill, SC.
