Mrs. Elizabeth Tanca Mitro 80, of 4917 Salera Ln., Indian Land, died Friday March 12, 2010 at home.
Born in Grosvenordale, Connecticut, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Sophie Costicia Tanca. Mrs. Vitro worked at Home Depot as a cashier.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 19, 2010 at St. Constaine Greek Orthodox Church in Webster, Massachusetts with Father Luke officiating with burial in Thompson Cemetery, Thompson, Connecticut. The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00pm Thursday, March 18, 2010 at Sitkowski-Malboeuf Funeral Home, Webster, Massachuetts, the family will have a reception at the Colonial Club following the committal service.

1 Son: George P. Mitro of Brooksville, Fl.
2 Daughters: Christine M. Velez of Indian Land, SC and Debra S. Berthiaume and husband Guy of Indian Land, SC
2 Brothers: Christopher Tanca of Dudley Mass. and Vanghel Tanca of Hollywood, Fl.
1 Sister: Ernestine Rucho of Matthews, NC
Grandchildren: Laura and Joshua Mitro, Lisa and Kevin Pearson, Jason and Sasha Berthiaume, Marissa and Derek Velez
Great Grandchild: Jason Berthiaume, Jr.
