Elizabeth Purves Silverthorn, 92, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2019.
Elizabeth was born on July 2, 1926 in Elsie, Michigan to the late Harry and Gladys Goodrich Purves. She was a very giving person, she spent numerous hours volunteering in her community. Elizabeth was an avid dancer and she won an international dance competition at the age of 65. She enjoyed playing cards, especially bridge.
Elizabeth was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Erwin Silverthorn and one brother Harry Purves Jr.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son Kent Silverthorn and wife Deborah of Rock Hill, daughter Jan Donnelly and husband Tom of Chicago, grandchildren Matthew, Mandy and Julie Silverthorn.
No services will be scheduled at this time.
