Elizabeth Gunn Wessinger

Elizabeth Wessinger, age 80, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 4, 2018. Born in Athens, Georgia the daughter of the late Della and Harvey Gunn. During her career Elizabeth (Bet) Wessinger, worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant in Charleston and Columbia, South Carolina.
Survivors include her daughter, Wanda O'Shea and husband Paul of Charlotte and; son, William Crouch and wife Sandra of Leesville, SC; son, Robert Robinson; daughter Betty Chavis of Orangeburg; two sisters Sue Poston of Rock Hill, SC; Joyce Branham of Lexington, SC; seven grandchildren, Iain O'Shea, Stephen Crouch, Cody Crouch and Ashley McNamee and seven great-grandchildren. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her sister Lois Adkins of Rock Hill, Melvin Gunn of Leesville, Johnny Gunn and Evelyn McGee of Columbia, SC.
Memorial service will be held on Monday, September 10, 2018 at 3:00 PM Palmetto Funeral home Chapel in Fort Mill, SC with Pastor Dr. Jim Neal officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately following the service.
