Ellen Marie Coran

Ellen Coran, 61, passed away at CMC-Pineville, on Wednesday, October 19, 2016. She was born in Jersey City, NJ, on June 12, 1955, to Peter and Marianna Lombardo Coran.

Ellen was a licensed practical nurse for over 20 years, working at Charlotte Memorial Hospital (CMC-Main) and Ortho-Carolina. For many years Ellen attended United Faith Assembly in Charlotte where she actively participated in children's puppet ministry; she been a member of Fort Mill Church of God for over 8 years. She loved working with Seniors and was over all a "people person"; some of her favorite things were enjoying gourmet foods and taking cruises.

She is survived by family and friends who loved and appreciated her dearly.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, Inc., 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016.

A visitation will be 10 AM - 12PM, on Monday, October 24, 2016. The funeral service will follow, Monday, October 24, 2016, at 12 P.M., at Palmetto Funeral Home, 2049 Carolina Place Drive, Fort Mill, SC, 29708. Interment will follow at Philadelphia United Methodist Church Cemetery.
