Emma Joann Stanley passed away on May 18, 2014 at her home in Fort Mill, SC. She was preceded in death by her son, Richard James who died in 2009. She is survived by her parents, Jack & Evelyn Stanley of Fort Mill, SC, her brother Jack W. Stanley Jr of Basdrope, TX, her sisters; Ann Marie Cartier of Rock Hill, SC, Mary Frances Stanley of Fort Mill, SC, Deborah Kay Cooper of Basdrope, TX, and Betty Jo Lepore of Fort Mill, SC as well as several nieces and nephews. Visitations are Wednesday, May 21 & Thursday, May 22, 2014 from 5-9 pm and funeral service Friday, May 23 at 12 noon at Palmetto Funeral Home of Fort Mill, SC. Burial to follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Charlotte, NC. Memorial donations can be made to Palmetto Funeral Home, 2049 Carolina Place Dr, Fort Mill, SC 29708 for contribution towards funeral expenses.
