Emme I. Seyez

Emme Isabella Seyez , 87, of Catawba, passed away peacefully Friday, December 1, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 16, 1930 in Warren, RI, daughter of the late William and Emme Evers Gardiner.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Frederick Joseph Seyez, Sr. and brother, Frankie Gardiner.

Emme relished providing a home for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her children, Frederick Seyez, Jr. and wife, Diane of Valdosta, GA, Steve Seyez and wife, Dorothy of Lehigh Acres, FL, Betsy Gamber and husband, Rick of Asheville, NC, Emme Stevenson and husband, Martin of Catawba, Rick Seyez and wife, Becky of Kannapolis, NC and Joe Seyez and wife, Judi of Charlotte, NC; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Shirley Fournier of Warren, RI and Margie Daponte and husband, Seraphine of Bristol, RI.

A Celebration of Emme’s Life will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Whitesell Funeral Home of Rock Hill.
