Ena Ellen Jones

Jones, Ena Ellen Walsh - Ena Ellen Jones passed away on October 11th, 2013, at her residence in Tega Cay, South Carolina. She was born in 1936 at Walsh's Farm, Gurtnacurra, Kildysart, County Clare, Ireland, the daughter of Patrick Bartholomew Walsh and Gretta Vandeleure Walsh. She came to the United States shortly after the birth of her first son in 1967 and became a naturalized citizen. She worked as a cosmetics/fragrances manager before retirement. She is survived by her husband of forty-seven years, John R. Jones; her sons, John P. Jones (Cheryl Lynn) of Richmond, Virginia, and Robert M. Jones (Donna) of Lancaster, South Carolina; her brothers, William Walsh of Middlesex, England, and Harry Walsh of Kildysart; her sisters, Sr. Anne Walsh of Fordham University, Bronx, NY; Judy Costello of Bournemouth, England; Patsy McGill of London, England; Margaret Joel of Camberley, Surrey, England; and Helen Walters of Queensland, Australia; and two beloved friends, Pat and Ron Trent of York, South Carolina. The funeral will be held at the Palmetto Funeral Home, 2049 Carolina Place Drive, Fort Mill, South Carolina, 29708, on Monday, October 14th, 2013, at 11:00 AM, with visitation one hour beforehand. Internment at a later time.
