Erin Mercedes Clark

Erin Mercedes Clark, 27, of Rock Hill, passed away suddenly Friday, August 24, 2018. She was born December 18, 1990 in Barstow, CA, daughter of Johnnie Clark III and Mary Clark of Rock Hill. A beloved mother, precious daughter, sister, granddaughter, great-granddaughter and friend, Erin will be deeply missed. She adored being a mother to her children. Erin enjoying doing hair and writing. She worked as a caregiver with Caring Hearts of Rock Hill and had aspirations of starting her own business. In addition to her loving parents, Erin leaves to cherish her memory her children, A'Niyah Clark, Josiah Clark, Kayden Clark and Ramon Hall, Jr.; brother, Ronald Smith; sisters, Justice Clark and Israelle Clark; paternal grandfather, Johnnie Clark, Jr.; maternal grandmother, Carol Franklin; paternal great-grandmother, Merlene Jolivet; uncle, Shedrick "Rick" Clark (Renee'); and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Erin was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, R. Priscilla Clark; maternal grandfathers, Henry Franklin and Eddie Romero; maternal grandmother, Rachael Lua; paternal great-grandfathers, Freddie Jolivet, Jr. and Johnnie Clark, Sr.; paternal great grandmother, Essie Mae Sanders Clark; paternal great-great-grandparents, Melvina Brewington, Willie Frank Beamon, Henry Clark, Sr. and Lizzie Ware Clark. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00, Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Rock Hill Memorial Gardens.
