Ernest Jeffrey “Jeff” Black , 53, of Richburg, passed away Sunday, June 3, 2018. He was born October 16, 1964 in Rock Hill, SC, son of the late Ernest and Elizabeth Parrish Black.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Robin Ann Black and brother, Ernie Bo Black.
Jeff was an avid SC Gamecock fan and loved to fish. He proudly worked as a Maintenance Mechanic for Carowinds for several years.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his brother, Keith Black of Fort Mill; his nephew, Shade Black of FL; extended family; and a host of close friends that became family.
A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 PM, Friday, June 8, 2018 at Harmony Baptist Church in Edgemoor.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to PruittHealth Hospice, 903 Elmwood Ave, Columbia, SC 29201 or the American Cancer Society, 1901 Brunswick Ave, #100, Charlotte, NC 28207.
The family would like to especially thank Jay Ackerman and the staff of PruittHealth Hospice for the loving and supportive care they provided. Your compassion and generosity will never be forgotten.
