Essie Todd Boleman Boyd

Essie Todd Boyd, 90, of Rock Hill, SC passed away Friday, July 26, 2013. Born in Anderson, SC, Mrs. Boyd was the daughter of the late Webster and Louise Boleman. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Boyd; 2 brothers, Wilfred and Webster Kenneth Boleman; and a sister, Mary Louise Hough. She is survived by her brother William Boleman and his wife Catherine of Cayce, SC; and 8 nieces and nephews, Nancy Swygert (Will), Harriet H. Gardner (Doug), Della H. Hegler, Galen Boleman, Dana Boleman, Dr. William Todd Boleman, Mary Catherine Lankford (Steven), and Leslie B. Jeffcoat (Joey). A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Boyd will be held 2pm Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at Westminster Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Jack Basie officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memorial Park on Cherry Rd. The family will receive friends at the church from 1-2pm prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church or to a charity of one's choice.
