Ethel Ferrell Roach

Ethel Ferrell Roach, 85, formerly of 4495 Highway 5, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at Agape Rehabilitation. A native Charlotte, NC, Mrs. Roach was born August 20, 1926 a daughter of the late Charles Ervin and Carrie Estelle Pope Ferrell. She was a homemaker and member of Neely's Creek Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church where she was a devoted church worker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death her husband Eugene Bradshaw Roach, Sr. Surviving are her children Ethel Marie R. Thompson and her husband Marvin of Rock Hill, Eugene B. "Sonny" Roach , Jr. and his wife Linda of Rock Hill, Karen R. Chrisley and her husband Johnny of Rock Hill; a brother Albert "Jabo" Ferrell and his wife Judy of Rock Hill; two sisters Betty F. Horton her husband Andy of Valrico, FL and Margaret F. White of Daytona Beach Shores, FL; granddaughter Kimberly Roach of Shelby, NC; step grandchildren Toby and Wendy Chrisley; of Ft. Mill; step great grandchildren Thomas and Tillman Chrisley of Ft. Mill; step grandchildren Misty and Matt O'Donnell; step great grandchildren Patrick and Pierce O'Donnell of Columbia, SC. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00pm Friday at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home. A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Roach will be held Saturday at 11:00am at Neely's Creek A.R.P. Church with Reverend Dr. Heiko Burklin and Reverend Jan Senneker officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Neely's Creek A.R.P. Church, 974 Neely's Creek Road, Rock Hill, SC 29730.
