Eugene Carl Canton, Sr

Eugene Carl Canton, Sr. passed away on Fri, Apr 3rd, 2020 after a brief battle with cancer. Eugene was born in Youngstown on Sept 11, 1937, the son of Carl and Angela (Cmil) Canton. He graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School and proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. After working many years for Reactive Metals & Alloy Corp in New Castle Pa., Eugene retired and was most recently living in Rock Hill, SC.

Eugene is survived by a son, Mark Canton (Ann Marie); two daughters, Deanna Canton and Dawn (Ray) Padgett; 5 Grandchildren, Dagny, Miles, Shelby (Padgett), Mackenzie, Mason; sister, G. Marie (James) Agues; and his beloved dog, Sissy.

Eugene was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Judith (Kaminski) Canton; son, Eugene Carl Canton, Jr.; brothers, Raymond Canton and Joseph Canton, and his parents.
