Eugenio R. Balius

Eugenio R. Balius, 83, of 2738 Tealwood Drive, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2009 at his residence. A native of Cuba, Mr. Balius was born March 8, 1926 a son of the late Eugenio and Domitila Vives Balius. He was a Certified Public Accountant and of the Catholic Faith. Surviving are his wife Maria C. Gonzalez Balius; two sons Gene Balius of Rock Hill and Alex Balius of Miami, FL; one sister Dolores Fisher of Winter Park, FL; four grandchildren and one great grandchild. A graveside service to celebrate the life of Mr. Balius will be held at 11:00am Wednesday at Rock Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 11:00pm Tuesday at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home.
