EVA MURPHY REYNOLDS We mourn the passing and celebrate the life of Eva Murphy Reynolds, 88, who died from complications after a massive stroke in May. She was a loving wife, devoted homemaker and beloved mother of three children. Part of Americas "greatest generation", she married in the middle of WW II and that marriage lasted 56 years. She was born in Edgemoor, South Carolina and moved to Miami Springs in 1952 when her husband was transferred there. She remained a resident in the community for over 50 years and pillar of her church, The Poinciana United Methodist Church. She is remembered as a very independent "behind the scenes person" who would only accept your best effort, and at the same time deeply caring person who shepherd many friends in their lives. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard R. Reynolds, and is survived by her three children: Virginia R. Yates , Susan R. Johnson and husband Ronald; Richard L. Reynolds and wife Annette. Her grandchildren Scott, Shawn and wife Stacey and Shannon Yates, and Casey Johnson; a step granddaughter Laura Zaytoun; and great grandchildren Garrett, Kat Lyn and Andon Yates. A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 2:00pm January 5, 2010 at Edgemoor A.R.P. Cemetery.
