Evan William Papillo

Mr. Evan William Papillo, 32 of Fort Mill, formerly of Australia, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2011 at Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte, NC.

Born in Geelong, Australia, Mr. Papillo was a son of Michael Papillo and Barbara Moss McKenzie. He was employed by Garnet as an IT Consultant. He achieved the Dean Scholars Award at Monash University. He was in 98.6% of student results for high school and with his Mom he started the first basketball team at his school which has grown to over 60 teams. Mr. Papillo started his own software company and was a Microsoft Accredited Trainer. He traveled around Asia, America, Europe and Australia.

Services for Mr. Papillo will be held at 2:00PM Saturday, March 19, 2011 at the Palmetto Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Mill with Pastor Bob Lang officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 1:00 to 2:00 before the service at the funeral home.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Papillo is survived by: his wife Deborah Maynard; three brothers, Rohan Papillo, Samuel Papillo and Oliver Papillo all of Australia; two sisters, Laura Papillo and Sophie Papillo both of Australia.

The family is being served by Palmetto Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Fort Mill, SC.
