Farris Ira Johnson

Farris Ira Johnson, 87, went to be with his Lord. He passed away at home with his family by his side. Mr. Johnson was born in 1921 in Lancaster County. He was the son of the late Robert Luther Johnson and Mae Small Johnson. He was retired from JP Stevens Aragon Mill after 56 years of service along with his wife Julia Bell. He was preceded in death by his wife Julia Bell Johnson and his sister Louise Guyton. He is survived by his four children Arlene Cauthen and her husband Boyce Cauthen, Mike Johnson and his wife Marcy, Barbara Snipes and husband Gerald, Linda Fox and her husband Jess "JC" Fox, ten grandchildren, Randy and Ray Cauthen, Michael Johnson, Kimberly Fulmer. Joey McGuirt, Kyle Snipes, Ricky Price, Mickey Price, Kalib Price and Wendy Jernigan and nineteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00pm Friday at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home. A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Johnson will be held Saturday at 2:00pm in the chapel of Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home with Pastor Kenneth Rabon officiating. Interment will follow at Rock Hill Memorial Gardens.
