Fleeta Clinton Lewis

Fleeta Clinton Lewis, 78, of 815 Pinebranch Road, passed away Friday, December 24, 2010 at her residence. A native of Rock Hill, Ms. Lewis was born April 10, 1932 a daughter of the late William Thomas and Cleo Pruitt Clinton. She was retired from Celanese after 37 years of service and was of the Baptist Faith. Surviving are her children Ronda Lessmeister of Rock Hill, Jeanie Cox and husband Jim of Spartanburg and Danny Thomas and wife Peggy of Rock Hill; one brother Ronnie Clinton of Rock Hill; two sisters Ellen Parrish and husband Donald of Rock Hill and Sue Melton of Rock Hill; nine grandchildren Lori Stoneburner and husband Lee, Brooke Hudson, Brad Lessmeister and wife Kelly, Chris Cox, Casey DeGrezia and husband Micah, Matt Cox, Ashley Thomas, Courtney Thomas and Blake Thomas; and ten great grandchildren. A service to celebrate the life of Ms. Lewis will be held Monday at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home with Reverend Jerry Devinney officiating. Interment will follow in Rock Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until the hour of service on Monday.
