Florence Catherine Mclaughlin

Florence Catherine McLaughlin, 59, passed away Friday, April 26, 2013. She was born in Philadelphia, PA on Sept. 6, 1953 to Joseph and Virginia Brady. She worked for PSFS Bank and Jordan Reeses Healthcare in Philadelphia, PA; moved to Charlotte to be a proud grandmother to two young boys. Florence was fanatical about Elvis Presley and the Wizard of Oz. She will be remembered for her personality that was as bright as her hair. Preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Bo and her sister, Diane. Florence is survived by her husband of 43 years, Frank McLaughlin; son, Michael and his wife, Michele and son, Dan; grandsons, Brendan and Sean; sisters, Barbara, Shelly, Jackie, Bridget; brothers, Mike, Brian and Tiny. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church with Father Joe Pearce, Celebrant. A reception will follow services. Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Monday, April 29, 2013 at Palmetto Funeral Home, Fort Mill, SC.
