Floyd Channell

Rock Hill - Mr. William Floyd Channell, 72, died Thursday, March 3, 2016, at Carolinas Medical Center.

Memorial services will be 6 p.m. Monday at Whitesell Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Wilson officiating. The family will recieve friends one hour before the service at the funeral home.

A native of Rockmart, Georgia, he was a son of the late Horace Vincent Channell and Lillie Ann Campbell Knight. Floyd was a man who wanted everyone to know that he loved to service his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Surviving are four sons, William Keith Channell, Randy Vincent Channell (Cindy), Ronald Floyd Channell, and William Chad Channell (Shelley); a daughter, Julie Marie Channell (Rusty); two brothers, William Don Channell and Charles Edward Channell; two sisters, Mary Ellen Walker and Sylvia Ann Patterson; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his beloved Poodle, Missy. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Horace Jerry Channell and Henry David Channell.
