Frances Joyce Fite Barrett
, 82, of Chester, passed away on Tuesday January 22 at Newberry County Hospital.
A memorial service will be held at 12pm Thursday, January 25, at Armenia Methodist Church, 2840 Armenia Road Chester, SC with Pastor’s Ron Fite and Carole Walters officiating. There will be a meet and greet with the family immediately following the service in the church cultural hall.
Born in Fort Mill, SC, she worked for Springs Industries for many years. She enjoyed growing beautiful flowers, especially roses.
She was the daughter of the late Andrew and Lillie Mae Fite of Fort Mill, SC.
She is survived by her son, Larry Helms (Rosie) of Chester, SC, her daughter Pat Riley (Darren) of Grovetown, GA, her brother Jimmy Fite (Patsy) of Fort Mill, and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Armenia Methodist Church, Chester, SC.
