Frances Parrish Fourman, 93, of Rock Hill, SC passed away Thursday, December 19, 2013. Born in Rock Hill, SC, Mrs. Fourman was the daughter of the late Irene and Ben Parrish, Sr. She was the co-founder of Fourman's Repair Shop, of which she continually interacted after retirement. Mrs. Fourman was a member of Rosie the Riveter Association, and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, J.E. Fourman; 2 brothers, James and Eugene Parrish; and a sister, Susie Carter. She is survived by a son, Garry Fourman (Barbara); 3 daughters, Donna Grant (Joe), Linda Jenkins (Keith), and Pamela Fourman; a brother, Ben Parrish, Jr.; and 2 grandchildren, Matthew and Lisa Fourman. The family would like to express thanks to Mrs. Fourman's caregivers, Lynda Wolfe, Joan Morgan, Denise Browning, and Tammy Williams. A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Fourman will be held 11am Monday, December 23, 2013 in the chapel of Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home with the Rev. Stephen Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Monday. Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
