Frances Olivia Glasscock was the youngest daughter of Ollie Simpson and Earl Palmer Glasscock Sr. of Catawba, SC. She was born on November 2, 1938 and suffered a cerebral hemorrhage at birth and developed cerebral palsy. In 1980 she began attending Camp Joy, a camp for handicapped students with ARP affiliation at the ARP Conference Center (Bonclarken) in Flat Rock NC. She looked forward to attending Camp Joy every year until 2013. Her most recent years were spent at the SC Department of Social Services Wilson House in Blythewood, SC where she received exceptional care until her passing on Sunday, January 31, 2016. She is preceded in death by her brothers Earl Glasscock Jr. (wife Patricia) and James S. Glasscock Jr. (wife Anne). Surviving are her sisters Jean Glasscock Lesslie (husband Herman) and Barbara Ann Glasscock plus numerous nieces and nephews.
