Frank Caricari

Frank "Cheech" Caricari went home to be with the Lord On March 21, 2017 after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease. Frank was born on April 2, 1932 in Calabria, Italy. He came to the United States in 1956 and settled in New Jersey where he and his wife of 58 years, Claire, raised their two sons. In addition to his wife, Frank is survived by his brother, Mario of Calabria, Italy, son, Frank and his wife, Rosemary of Jackson, NJ, and son, Tony and his wife, Debbie of Fort Mill, SC. He is also survived by three grandsons who were the joy of his life, Shane (fiancé Kelly) of Rock Hill, SC, Austin (Diana) of Rock Hill, SC, and Chris of Fort Mill, SC.

Frank was known as the "Magician in the Kitchen" preparing delicious Italian meals for customers at his two restaurants in New Jersey and then his new friends in South Carolina. Frank was an avid bowler, member of the Wise Owls of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, the Owls Club of Rock Hill, and was definitely the #1 New York Yankee fan.

A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 31 at 5:00pm at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, Fort Mill, SC. The family will receive friends prior to the mass in the family room at St. Philip Neri Church at 4:00pm. Interment of the ashes will be a private service for the family that will take place at the Memorial Garden at the Oratory in Rock Hill, SC after the mass.
