Frank Marion Parrish

Mr. Franklin Marion Parrish 77, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday Oct. 1, 2017 surrounded by family and friends. A visitation will be held Tues. Oct. 3, 2017 from 6pm-8pm at Bass Cauthen Funeral Home and other times at the home. Funeral services will be Weds. Oct. 4, 2017 at 2pm at Park Ridge Baptist Church, 5099 Trotter Ridge Court, Rock Hill SC 29732. Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Park on Cherry Road in Rock Hill. Pastors Mike Welch and Rick Martin will officiate the service. Frank was born December 17, 1939 in Rock Hill SC to the late Ralph Barber and Mary Louise Parrish. He was a member of Park Ridge Baptist Church where he served as Deacon. He was Retired from Arvinmeritor in York. Frank was a former peewee coach for the Rosewood Dragons and the ladies softball coach at Park Ridge. Frank was an avid Carolina Gamecock fan, fisherman and hunter. He loved to watch his grandchildren participate in a variety of sports. Nothing made him happier than having his home filled with family and friends. Frank was proceeded in death by his parents, brothers Bobby Parrish and Billy Parrish (Chubby). Frank is survived by his wife of 57 years Kate Peay Parrish. Three Daughters Shelly Dunn (Ricky) of Catawba, Karen Cook (John) of York and Angie Parrish of Rock Hill. Six Grandchildren Chad Dunn (Jordan), Parrish Dunn, Christina Parker (Casey), Hunter Cook, Kyndall Mullinax (David), Katie Henderson (her father Larry Henderson). His eight Great Grand Buddies Talan, Gauge, Haddon, Asa Parker, Ansley and Addison Mullinax, Aubri and Hunter Banks Cook. Brother Joe (Lefty) Parrish and his wife Linda. Numerous nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Park Ridge Baptist Church Building Fund both at 5099 Trotter Ridge Ct. Rock Hill SC 29732. Condolences may be register at www.basscares.com.
