Frank R. Realmuto, Sr.

Mr. Frank R. Realmuto, Sr. age 68 beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend passed away Thursday, May, 20, 2010 at his home with his family by his side after a courageous battle with cancer.



Frank was born September 21st 1941 in Corona, New York to the late Mariano and Mary Pianpiano Realmuto. He was a man who loved his family dearly. He had the gift of humor, a very special gift of love for children and loved to teach them how to shake hands, he will be missed but remembered by all who knew him.



A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, May 24th 2010 at 2pm at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Charlotte, NC with Father Stanley Kobel officiating. Burial will follow in the St. James Catholic Church Cemetery in Concord, NC Goldhill Road. The family of Mr. Realmuto will receive friends from

2-4 6-8 Sunday and 10-12 Monday at Palmetto Funeral Home 2049 Carolina Place Dr, Fort Mill, SC 29708.



Mr. Realmuto is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Nina Realmuto of Fort Mill; Daughter Sandra Jean Price of Charlotte, NC; sons; Douglas Anthony Realmuto and wife April of Clover, SC; Frank Robert Realmuto, Jr. of Monroe, NC; two brothers Joseph Realmuto and Anthony Realmuto both of Las Vegas, NV; six sisters Frances Miller; Marie Wagner and Ann Laubacher all of Smithtown, New York, Theresa Zinkiwicz and Rosmary Patterson of Huntington, New, York and Jean Fazio of Lewes, Delware; grandchildren Frank Vincent Realmuto; Maria Laina Realmuto; Tristan Herrin; Anthony Realmuto; Meghan Nicole Price and Veronica Realmuto. Mr. Realmuto was preceded in death by his brother Sonny Realmuto of Andes, New York and his granddaughter Gina Marie Hunt
