Franklin Biron Holliman

September 16, 1952 — August 25, 2018

Lieutenant Colonel (Ret.) Franklin Biron Holliman , 65, of Fort Mill, passed away quietly at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House, surrounded by his wife and loved ones on Saturday, August 25, 2018 after losing his battle with prostate cancer. He was born September 16, 1952 in Leaksville, NC, son of the late Clayton and Arlene Koger Holliman.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, John Holliman and Carlos Holliman and sister-in-law, Lucy Holliman.

Frank was retired from the United States Army where he held the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Chemical Corps. He also retired from truck driving as an owner/operator with Schneider National Carriers. He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Fort Mill 1st Ward. He left this life trusting in his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and wanted to let his testimony stand: “I know that Jesus Christ lives and loves each and every one of us, His children, with a love beyond our comprehension.”

He is survived by his loving wife, Anna Belle Holliman; daughters, Karen Fassler (husband, Mike) and Lillian Arlene Holliman; sons, Karl Franklin Holliman (wife, Nichole) and Derrick Shawn Jackson (wife, Yelena); grandson, Austin Gaige Holliman; and brothers, Paul Holliman (wife, Loretta) and Jesse Holliman, Sr.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 1, 2018 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints – Catawba Ward, 1989 Reservation Road, Rock Hill, SC 29730 with full military honors.
