Fred Merle Seiter

Loving husband of 55 years and proud father of 2 children of Fort Mill, SC, died with his family present on August 29, 2024.

Fred was born in Detroit, MI in 1942 to Louise Mary Kuechie and Fred Washington Seiter. He grew up in Detroit where he attended grade school through high school. Upon graduating high school, Fred joined the United States Air Force as a Radio Operator where he spent the next 4 years of his career.

After completing his term of service in the Air Force, Fred retired from the service and went in to meet his future wife Janet. They eventually moved to a small town in Michigan and had his two children, Kevin and Aaron.

Fred took great pride in being a parent, especially when taking the family out for vacations. He loved to see his kids enjoy them just as much and he did. As his children got older he supported them with all the advice and help he could afford. Fred was the kind of man to give the shirt off his back to help his children.

Fred is going to be truly missed by his family and friends, leaving them with many wonderful memories and experiences he shared throughout his life.
