Gail Westmoreland Nugent

Gail Westmoreland Nugent completed her courageous fight at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House on June 29, 2015. She was employed at Ace Builders Hardware in Rock Hill for more than twenty-five years. Gail was a devoted member of Lakewood Baptist Church and an inspiration to her Sunday School class. Always sweet spirited and caring, she loved her time with family, friends and the family dog, Lexi. Gail is survived by her daughter, Nicole Earle O'Dell and husband Patrick; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert W. Westmoreland; her brothers Bobby & Doug Westmoreland of Rock Hill and her sister, Brenda W. Lee of Clover. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tiffany Marie Horne, whom she is now reunited with. A Celebration of Life service will be on Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at 2 PM at Lakewood Baptist Church, 3520 Mount Gallant Road, officiated by Reverend Jerry Devinney. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery, 4920 Old York Road, Rock Hill. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice & Community Care, PO Box 993 Rock Hill SC 29731. The family would like to give special thanks for the loving care provided by the staff at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House. Additionally, the family would like to thank Dr. Gor and the compassionate staff at the Carolina Blood and Cancer Care Associates of Rock Hill. Isaiah 40:31 Those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
