Gail Marie (Stark) Schlemmer

Gail Marie Stark Schlemmer, 69, of Fort Mill passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2019.
Gail was born on September 24, 1949 in Scranton, PA to the late Walter F. and Florence Davis Stark. She attended Saint Philip Neri Catholic Church. Gail enjoyed traveling, reading and most of all spending time with her children and grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William Schlemmer, one brother Walter "Sonny" Stark and two sisters Shirley Stark Gallucci and Gaye Elaine Stark.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters Kim Hartrum and husband Raymond of Fort Mill, Kelly Carlin and husband David of Louisville, KY, and one sister Patricia Forgione of Kingston, NY. Also surviving are four grandchildren Shelby Hartrum, Katelyn Hartrum, Andrew Hartrum, Kelsey Carlin and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3pm on Sunday, August 18, 2019 at Z Bakery 124 Confederate St, Fort Mill, SC 29715. If attending please RSVP with Kim Hartrum.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Human Society of York County, 8177 Regent Pkwy, Fort Mill, SC 29715.
