George Hemphill Garrison, Jr

ROCK HILL - Mr. George Hemphill Garrison Jr., 55, of 4048 Shuman St., went home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on Monday, July 16, 2013, at Piedmont Medical Center.

Born on August 4, 1957, the eldest son of George (Pete) Hemphill Garrison Sr. (Martha) and the late Helen Francis Turner Garrison. He was preceded in death by an Uncle Gene Jasper Turner and Aunt Constance Zoe Turner.

George Jr. graduated from Fort Mill High School in 1976. He was a certfied plumber and proprietor of Garrison Plumbing Company.

He leaves behind this earthly life, Aunt Diane Turner Flynn; two sisters, and two brothers, Torrie Lynn Garrison (Thomas, Sr.) Bailes of Blackstock, SC; Robert Walker Garrison; Glenda Hue Garrison (Mark) of York SC and Thadeus Pearson Garrison of Great Falls, SC. Six nephews, Kiefer Little, Douglas Bailes, Thomas Bailes, Jr., Cody Bailes, Zarchary Garrison, Justin Garrison and one niece, Jessica Garrison.

He will be missed and loved by many wonderfuld and caring family and friends.
