George C. Haire, Jr.

George Haire, Jr., 83, passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2015. Born in China Grove, NC on October 8, 1931 to George (Sr) and Ruth Haire. George served and retired from U.S. Air Force. Survived by his loving wife Evelyn Haire, three children Rose Haire, Ricky Haire, Alan Haire and two grandchildren; four stepchildren Max Flowe, Yvonne Bradey, James Flowe and Donna Gills. Gloria Sue Kornbau and preceded in death by brother Jerry Haire. Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 9, 2015 at Steele Creek Presbyterian Church and Cemetery, 7407 Steele Creek Road, Charlotte, NC. In lieu of flowers donations my be given to Hospice in loving memory of George Haire, Jr. The family is so thankful for the wonderful care given from Agape Nursing Home in Rock Hill, SC and Hospice. Family being served by Palmetto Funeral Home of Ft. Mill, SC.
