George Hinebaugh

Rock Hill - Mr. George Elmer Hinebaught, 83, of 1860 Matthews Drive, died Friday, October 29, 2010, at Piedmont Medical Center.

Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 31, 2010, at Whitesell Funeral Home with Dr. Jim Neal officiating.

A native of Morgantown, West Virginia, Mr. Hinebaugh was a son of the late Charles Elmer and Luella Simmons Hinebaugh. He was an Army Veteran who served as a M.P. He also retired from Continental Tire after 18 years. He loved to fish and hunt.

Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Ida Mae Meade Hinebaugh; one son, George B. Hinebaugh and his wife, Debra of Rock Hill; a daughter, Judy Lynne Poynter of Greenville; one brother, Ronnie Hinebaugh; five grandchildren, Melissa Warren, Matt Crawford, Justin Crawford, Jordan Poynter and Schyler Poynter. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Lou Hinebaugh and three brothers, Fred Hinebaugh, Tom Hinebaugh, and Donnie Hinebaugh.

Memorials may be given to Salvation Army, 119 S. Charlotte Ave., Rock Hill, SC 29730 or Eastside Baptist Church Building Fund, 318 N. Jones Ave., Rock Hill, SC 29730.
