George William Lake

George William Lake, 65, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2008 at Piedmont Medical Center. Surviving are his wife Loretta Kay Lake; two daughters Monica Toomey of New York, Veronica Sasso of NJ; three stepsons Kirk Grobels and wife Teresa of Rock Hill, Chad Grobels and wife Holly of Robbinsville, NJ, Doug Grobels and fiance Jennifer of Hamilton Square, NJ; two grand children Garrett and Zachary Grobels. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00pm Saturday and 2:00 to 3:00pm Sunday at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home. A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Lake will be held Sunday at 3:00pm in The Chapel of Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Rock Hill Memorial Gardens.
