Geraldine Ann Weston

Geraldine Weston (Geri), 84, passed away on October 3, 2018 at Wellmore in Tega Cay, SC.

Geri grew up in West New York, NJ and graduated from St. Joseph's High School in Union City, NJ. She then worked as an Executive Secretary at McGraw Hill Publishing Co., followed by similar positions at NY area corporations.

Later, Geri was a devoted homemaker and volunteer. She served as a Girl Scout leader, delivered Meals on Wheels and was a member of the Caldwell Women's Club. She was an excellent seamstress and her daughters and grandchildren won many accolades and prizes for her creative Halloween costumes. Geri was willing to help her family and friends with whatever they may need and was always ready to accompany them on a walk, on a shopping trip, or through a challenge. She enjoyed nothing more than being with her loved ones. She'll be remembered for her quick smile, her love of music, and her lifelong energy.

She is survived by her caring husband and love of her life, Richard of Tega Cay, SC, and by her daughters Kathleen Smith (Steve) of Montclair, NJ and Nancy Lenard (Steve) of Tega Cay, SC. She adored her grandchildren, Ryan Smith of Pittsburgh, PA, Matthew Smith of Brooklyn, NY, Shane Lenard of Charleston, SC and her sister Jayne Scognamiglio of Sheridan, WY. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends.

A visitation and celebration of her life will be held at Wellmore of Tega Cay on Monday, November 19, 2018 from 2-4pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Geri's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Alzheimer's Association.
