Gerry "Big Red" Ray Neeley

Fort Mill – Mr. Gerry Ray Neeley, known by many as Big Red, 64, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at Atrium Health Mercy, Charlotte, NC.

The family will receive friends 1:00 pm Monday, April 12, 2021, at Glenrock Baptist Church and a funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm the Rev. Gene Flack officiating.

Mr. Neeley was a son of Billy Ray Neeley and the late Mary Ann Neeley.  He was a retired police officer from the Fort Mill City Police Department.  He also owned and operated the G & M Cleaning of Fort Mill.  He was a graduate of Fort Mill High School and was a Letterman football player.  He briefly attended Carson-Newman University.  He was an avid fan of Professional Wrestling and the Miami Dolphins. He was a member of Glenrock Baptist Church, Fort Mill, SC.

Surviving in addition to his father; is his son, Travis Neeley.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Melissa Lynn Adams Neeley.
