Gladys Halvorson Beckham

Rock Hill, SC - Gladys Beckham, born July 25, 1921, passed away June 16, 2023 at 6:03 PM at 101 years old at her home.

Visitation will be 12:00 – 1:00 PM on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at Whitesell Funeral Home with the funeral service following at 1:00 PM.  Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Park immediately following the service.

Awaiting her in heaven was her beloved husband, William Beckham; children, Bonnie Lollis, Judy Bailey, and Mary Ann Carothers; her parents; siblings; and her great granddaughter, Crystal Hill.

Surviving are her nine grandchildren, Cammie Stover Miller (Joey) of Blacksburg, SC, Danny Stover (Rebekah) of Lake Wylie, SC, Laurie Caldarella (Tony) of Kansas City, Nichole Jobe (Mike) of High Point, NC, Keith Lollis of Rock Hill, SC, Cheryl Hill (Scott) of Edgemoor, SC, and Anita Block (Bob) of Charlotte NC, Daun Davidson (Tim) of York, SC and Jodey Wingate of York, SC; 19 great grandchildren; 14 great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Grandmother loved Jesus more than anyone we've ever seen.  She was the definition of a God-fearing woman.  Grandmother loved her family to the fullest, never forgetting a single one in her daily prayers.  She was a sassy, classy, very intelligent Norwegian Queen.  She loved to help and was always there for everyone.  She is already greatly missed, but she will never be forgotten.  Her legacy will forever live on through us all.
