Gladys Bell Thomas

Gladys Bell Thomas , 97, of Fort Mill, passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at home. She was born on December 25, 1919 in Pineville, NC, daughter of the late Charles and Mammie Nivens Thomas.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Thomas, Sr.; son, Floyd “Tommy” Thomas, Jr.; brothers, Roy Thomas, Lindsey Thomas and Charles Thomas;

She was faithful member of Philadelphia United Methodist Church. She was a Charter Member of Samaritan’s Purse.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter-in-law, Ann Guy Thomas of Fort Mill; grandson, Timothy Thomas of Fort Mill; and nephews, Andy Thomas, Chuck Thomas and Phillip Thomas.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Philadelphia United Methodist Church with Pastor Becky Shirley officiating. Burial will follow at Philadelphia United Methodist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Philadelphia United Methodist Church, 1691 Highway 160 West, Fort Mill, SC 29708.
