Grace Eloise Rosamond

September 9, 1948 — February 10, 2025

Rock Hill, SC

Grace Eloise Rosamond, known by many as Gracie, Eloise, or Nana, entered into heaven on Monday, February 10", 2025, at 76 years old.
Grace Eloise was born to George Washington Hager and Grace Elizabeth Ballard Hager on September 9, 1948. She was the youngest of three children, carrying a playful spirit with her throughout life. Her family moved to Charlotte, NC before starting school.

Grace Eloise graduated from Olympic High School in 1966. She lived in Germany for nine years raising her children, Greg and Laurie (1966-2021) while her husband at the time, Kenneth "Kenny" Austin (1948-1988) served in the military. She remarried in 1990 to Denver
"Denny" Rosamond (1943-2011) and loved riding Harley's, camping, and traveling to visit friends and family around the country together. Grace Eloise passed her days in recent years with virtual games with friends, Hallmark movies, and talking to those she loved.

She had an unmatched joy for life, loved serving her church, and caring for her friends and family. She was always the first to laugh (or roll her eyes) at your joke, volunteer at the church through the soup kitchen, choir, or session, and brag about her grandchildren and great-grandchildren's accomplishments.

Grace Eloise is preceded in death by her parents and sister and brother: Janet Massey and George "Frank" Hager. She is survived by many beloved friends and family including a brother-in-law: Wayne Massey, sister-in-law: Brenda Hager, son and daughter-in-law: Greg and Kristy Austin, stepdaughter: Jill James, grandchildren: Ashton and wife Kelsey Foster, Tommy and wife Angela Austin, Megan Austin and fiancé Anthony Cherry, and Logan James, and great-grandchildren: Ava, Henry, Ellie, and Ben Foster, and Drew Austin.

A memorial service with reception/visitation to follow will be held in her honor on Sunday, February 16th, 2025, at 2:00pm at her long-time church Covenant Presbyterian in Rock Hill, South Carolina (1830 Celanese Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732).

In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated to Tender Hearts Ministries of York County, South Carolina.
