Grover Calvin Flynn

Grover Calvin Flynn, 74, of Rock Hill, SC passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2014. Born in Rutherfordton, NC, Mr. Flynn was the son of the late Fred and Beulah Flynn. He loved spending time with his family. Mr. Flynn enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Lloyd Flynn, Douglas Flynn and Ray Flynn. He is survived by his loving wife, Angie Flynn; a son, Chuck Flynn; 2 daughters, Ruth "Sissy" Flynn Cole (Tim) and Rebecca "Becky" Flynn Fields; 4 brothers, Troy Flynn, Harold Flynn, David Flynn, and Jesse Flynn; 2 sisters, Agnes White and Linda Rowe; 7 grandchildren, Crystal DeFreitas, Josh Flynn, Kyle Fields, Chad Flynn, Travis Cole, J.B. Fields, and Dawn Cole; and 7 great-grandchildren. A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Flynn will be held 11am Saturday, October 11, 2014 in the chapel of Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Rock Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Friday, October 10, 2014 at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home and other times at the home, 1271 Barringer Rd.
