Harold Boyd Shelton, 91, of Rock Hill passed away on December 10, 2019.
Harold was born on February 10, 1928 to the late William and Ester Shipman Shelton. He was a United States Navy Veteran.
Harold was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Rock Hill. He was the owner of H.B. Shelton and Son Machine Shop for several years. Harold enjoyed gardening, growing vegetables and flowers. He will be remembered as a workaholic although he spent those times working alongside his family.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Roberta Shelton and siblings Ray, Jack, Bud and Doris.
He is survived by his two sons Charles Alan "Chuck" Shelton and wife Carole of Tampa, Fl, Harold Mitchel "Mitch" Shelton and wife Kelly of Rock Hill and one grandson Ryan Nelson Shelton of Rock Hill. Also surviving is one brother William Shelton of Charlotte, NC, one sister Marie Lineberger of Alexis, NC and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 19, 2019 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home, Rock Hill.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, December 20, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at Grandview Memorial Park, Rock Hill.
Flowers may be sent to the funeral home or memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 803 N. Jones Ave. Rock Hill, SC 29730.
