Harold Weston, age 86, passed away peacefully in his sleep on April 29, 2021.
Harold grew up in Alexandria, VA, as one of nine children of William and Eunice Weston. He served in the Navy and met his future wife, Sharon Roberts, while stationed in Pensacola. She had her doubts about him, but he was charming, good looking and had a nice car.
Harold worked for AT&T from 1957 until his retirement. He was an active and dedicated member of the Church of Christ, serving as a Sunday school teacher, deacon and elder over the years and particularly enjoyed leading singing. He was also an avid golfer who rarely cheated.
Harold will be forever remembered and his memory cherished by Sharon, his wife of 63 years, their three daughters, Kim, Karen and Tracy, sons-in-law Tracy, Frank and Lou and grandchildren Jessie, Jordan, Katie, Frank, Karlee, Matt, Mandi and Allie.
Funeral services will be held at Gold Hill Church of Christ on Thursday, May 6th, at 2:00 pm.
The family is requesting donations to Alzheimer's research in lieu of flowers.
