Hazel Christine Harriman

Hazel Christine Harriman, 96, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Wellmore Skilled Nursing in Tega Cay, SC. She was born to the late John Kraft and Al Hazel Pitcher in Washington, DC, on September 23, 1920. Christine graduated from Roosevelt High School and Strayer Business School in Washington, DC.

She is preceded in death by her first husband Adam U. Payne and her second husband Chester A. Harriman.

She is survived by her loving family, daughter Kathleen G. Holl and her husband Stephen, her son Thomas K. Payne and his wife Debra, her step-daughter Cheryl Townshend and her husband Walt, and her step-son Jeffery Harriman and his wife Patti. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

The family will honor Christine's life at a private graveside service at Hillcrest Cemetery in Annapolis, MD at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
