Hazel Monroe Sharpe

ROCK HILL - Mrs. Hazel Monroe Sharpe, 82, died March 11, 2011, at Palmetto Health Richland Hospital in Columbia.

The family will receive friends at 9:15 a.m. Saturday, March 19, 2011, at Sisk Memorial Baptist Church. Memorial services will follow at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Tom Tucker officiating.


Born in Joanna, S.C., she was the daughter of the late William and Cora Lee Walker Monroe. She was retired from Hydro Prints of Charlotte and was a past employee of Smith Enterprise. She was also a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Jimmy Harris and Mike Harris; two daughters, Marie Mitchell and Donna Ward; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
