Helen Jane Fudge Jordan

EDGEMOOR – Helen Jane Fudge Jordan, 87, of Edgemoor, passed away on April 6, 2025. The daughter of the late David Clyde and Martha Simpson Fudge, she is survived by her husband of 65 years, Allen Gene Jordan Sr. of Edgemoor.

Born in Edgemoor on April 26, 1937, she graduated from Lewisville High School in 1955. On August 30, 1959, she married Mr. Jordan. They had two children, Lynda and Gene Jr.

A lifelong member of Neely’s Creek ARP Church, she was active in the Friendship Circle and the Friendship Sunday School class.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Lynda (Mark) Caskey of Lancaster; and Gene (Michelle) Jordan Jr. of Edgemoor; six grandchildren, Laura Caskey of Columbia; Marla (Andy) Musselwhite of Suffolk, VA; John Mark Caskey of Heath Springs; Allen (Elaine) Jordan of Orlando, FL; Gena Caskey of Charlotte, NC; and David Jordan of Edgemoor; two sisters, Annie (Charles) Montgomery of Edgemoor; and Martha Wylie Clawson of McConnells; two great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Ella Jordan and Lib Howard.

A service will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025 at 3 p.m. at Neely’s Creek ARP Church with the Rev. Matt Joldersma and Larry Young officiating. Burial will follow in the Neely’s Creek ARP Church cemetery. The family will receive visitors at 2 p.m. at Neely’s Creek ARP Church prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial can be made in Mrs. Jordan’s name to Neely’s Creek ARP Church, 974 Neely’s Creek Rd., Rock Hill, SC 29730.
